Seasoned Pro's Indoor Cricket Weekend League Season 13 concluded in early December 2013. As is normally the case with the festive season, it was a more compact league with just 11 teams participating in one division. The format was straight forward with each team playing each other once on a round-robin basis with the team at the top of the league declared champion.

This turned into one of the tightest seasons on record with 3 teams running neck and neck till the bitter end. And so it came down to the final day of the campaign. When BGC had a massive win over Sunrisers by 130 runs, they knew they had a fighting chance of winning the title for the first time.

K8 had a lot of work to do knowing they had to win their final 2 games on the last day of the season to take the title. They gave themselves a massive boost by thrashing bottom-of-the-table BK Wolves by 170 runs for the 2nd biggest win of the season. So it came down to the final game and it happened to be against another title contender, Old Monks A. Both sides knew a simple win would be enough to take title.

In the end, in a game in which Old Monks had done well to restrict K8 to 116 runs, they looked to be in the driving seat compiling runs comfortably. But K8 pulled things back with wickets tumbling towards the end and the won by 4 runs to be crowned Weekend League champions for the 3rd time. Congrats to K8!
