D2D Strategic Partnership


Seasoned Pro is proud to announce a Strategic Partnership with D2D Sports, one of the leading operators of amateur football and futsal leagues in Singapore. The nature of the tie-up is still being finalised but it will involve Seasoned Pro expanding its football horizons having previously organised the Carlsberg Beerfest Futsal tournament, the Indoor Stadium Futsal Challenge and helped facilitate the Vincent Kompany Asia Tour.

Despite Seasoned Pro appearing to be a cricket-centric company, football is actually my first love but our opportunities have been limited and I\'ve always wanted to shift some of our focus onto the Beautiful Game. So it makes sense to team up with experienced operators such as D2D with all their superb football connections,  said Shehzad Haque, Seasoned Pro Managing Director.

D2D Sports have been in operation since 2010 and have more than 100 teams on their roster but are also keen to ramp up operations.

It\'s high time we move on to the next level. We feel Seasoned Pro\'s expertise in sports marketing and PR will help us to achieve that. Our core focus is football leagues but by aligning ourselves with Seasoned Pro, we can aim to work on bigger events,  said D2D\'s General Manager, Rasvinder Singh.

With all that in mind, the 2 companies have already collaborated on the Indoor Stadium Football Fans Cup and are in the development stages of conceptualising a football tournament which would involve all the different communities in Singapore in line with the upcoming FIFA World Cup. Tentatively called the Singapore United Cup, the 11-a-side tournament will be held from April to June. More details will be revealed soon.
